The service life of different types of laser equipment is different. The main difference depends onits core component laser. At present, there are three major lasers: CO₂ lasers, UV lasers and fiber lasers.
CO₂ Lasers
The price of the RF metal tubes used by the CO2 laser varies greatly between different quality products, and the service life is different. The overall service life ranges from 5-7 years.
UV Lasers
Ultraviolet lasers have the shortest working life, and the effective light-emitting time is about 12,000-14,000 hours, which is about 2 years.
The short service life of UV lasers is mainly:

2. When the laser is working, it will ionize the air, so that the ultraviolet crystal will be charged, so as to absorb the particulate dust in the air, and the crystal will be damaged by ultraviolet radiation.
Fiber Lasers
Fiber lasers have the longest service life, up to 100,000 hours, and can be used for 8-10 years with reasonable maintenance. The longevity of the fiber lasers is mainly due to its special structure - the laser is a total internal reflection mechanism, and the laser line oscillates in the fiber, with few consumables and low loss.
In addition to the laser, the service life of laser marking machine influenced by the control system, the computer host, the lifting adjustment shaft, the fixed tripod and other components. However, these components can be used for a long time, so the impact is minimal.
