The working principle of silk screen printing is very simple. First, engrave the pattern to be printed on the steel plate, and then print it on the surface of the nameplate through the printing screen.

 

Pad printing is to first make a plate of the pattern to be printed, engrave a gravure on the steel plate, and then print it on the surface of the product with a silicone transfer head.

 

Compared with metal nameplate laser marking machines, silk screen and pad printing generally have the following problems:

1. Poor wear resistance

The metal nameplate adopts the effect of silk screen printing and pad printing, and its wear resistance is much worse than that of laser marking.

 

2. The aesthetics are not high

For some products that have high requirements on the appearance of the nameplate, the printed information on the metal surface is relatively rough.

 

3. Not environmentally friendly enough

Chemical raw materials such as organic solvents and heavy metal elements are used in the silk screen printing process. These substances have certain toxicity. During the drying process of screen printing inks, volatile chemical raw materials gradually volatilize into the air, causing pollution to the air and the environment.

 

4. High environmental requirements

The nameplates of some equipment are subject to immersion, high temperature, and chemical pollution due to production environment problems. The nameplates marked by traditional methods have low tolerance and may be damaged.
