3D Laser Marking Machine

Oct 25, 2022

Laser marking machines have become a common marking and engraving tool on the market. With the improvement of production technology, products of various materials and appearances have also sprung up, and ordinary laser marking machines will also encounter situations that cannot be processed, such as arcs, circles, irregular ovals and other non-planar structural appearance.

3D laser marking machine has improved the technical application range for laser marking processing and expanded the demand for curve surface marking. It is no longer limited to the surface shape of the processed object, but can be extended to three-dimensional surface. The 3d laser engraving machine realizes high-efficiency graphic marking and surface microstructure manufacturing on three-dimensional curved objects. The marking and engraving of non-planar structures such as arcs, circles, and irregular ovals is finally no longer an unsolvable difficulty.

Compared with the traditional two-dimensional laser marking machine, the 3D laser marking machine has the following advantages:

Compared with the traditional two-dimensional laser marking machine, the 3D laser marking machine has the following advantages:

1. Greater range and finer light effects.

3D marking can be divided into two types: front focusing and rear focusing. When using the front focusing mode, the main purpose is to achieve a larger marking range. Generally, larger X and Y axis deflection lenses are used, which can allow the incident laser spot to be larger. Larger, smaller focused spots and higher energy density are obtained; thus meeting the compliance requirements of larger areas.

2. Variable focal length to achieve three-dimensional marking.

Since 3D marking can quickly change the laser focal length and the position of the laser beam, it is possible to mark surfaces that were not possible with 2D in the past. After using 3D marking, cylindrical marking in the light projection range can be completed at one time, which greatly improves the processing efficiency. Furthermore, the surface shape of many parts of industrial products is not just flat, and it is really powerless for 2D marking processing. At this time, 3D marking is easier to achieve.

3. it is more suitable for deep carving.

There are inherent defects in traditional 2D marking for deep engraving on the surface of objects. With the upward movement of the laser focus during the engraving process, the laser energy acting on the actual surface of the object will drop sharply, which seriously affects the effect and efficiency of deep engraving. 3D marking for deep engraving processing does not have the above problems, which not only ensures the effect, but also improves the efficiency.
